HDMZ is looking for an experienced Website Optimization & Tagging Strategist with a proven track record of managing website content, tagging and tracking planning and implementation, and reporting for engagement and KPI ROI. This individual will be responsible for overall performance and growth of website measurement and reporting, with ongoing analysis and proactive insights to drive trust and expertise across clients. The ideal candidate must be data-driven, analytical, strategic, able to troubleshoot complex analytical client requests, and have thorough experience measuring, tagging, tracking and reporting on websites with a variety of types of channels and goals. 


  • Day to day administration and maintenance of company websites
  • Test and troubleshoot all site functions using various devices and browsers to ensure connectivity, functionality, and visuals operate as they should
  • Use Content Management System (CMS) for website content updates
  • Ensure proper image sizes, naming and tagging protocols, product numbers, descriptions, and procedure documentation are accurate and updated regularly
  • Support new product launches, create relevant content on the website, build new landing pages to support marketing initiatives
  • Ensure websites are up to date with product offerings, functionality, and updated, fresh content
  • Define, test, optimize, and launch SEO programs
  • Review site content and update with SEO trends; ongoing SEO optimization
  • Monitor and report on website traffic, site performance, and engagement levels
  • Deliver reporting for SEO optimization, web analytics, and behavioral analytics
  • Support the development of paid media measurement strategy across channels and media/analytics vendors
  • Coordinate tagging and tracking across channels (including but not limited to SEM, paid social, display non-digital, and retargeting, print ad, guerilla, etc.) from strategy to KPI evaluation, tagging standardization and tracking methodology, implementation, QA, and reporting results
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly paid media and website engagement reports
  • Implement cookie consent and data privacy measures such as OneTrust, data collection/retention practices, etc., Integrating with Google Tag Manager, with high precision and proactive troubleshooting
  • Refine/adapt recommendations for digital platforms and execute updates to enhance consumer experience and facilitate optimization


  • 1-4 years of experience in website analysis, management, tagging/tracking, and reporting at a company with primary responsibility in digital analytics ROI, and involvement in a robust, growing online presence 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field 
  • Analytical competence, problem-solving, results-oriented, time management required
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines is important
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of how different channels contribute to website traffic, and how to access and manage site tags/data on each platform with current best practices (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, etc.) 
  • Strong experience in Google Tag Manager, from container creation, strategy, tag implementation, tag audit/cleanliness, etc., including how those tags translate into actionable reporting
  • Experience with customer experience tools such as Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify, Autopilot, Braze, Hubspot, etc., a plus
  • Understanding of data privacy principles and how they apply with GDPR/CCPA, including implementation and management of cookie consent tools (OneTrust CookiePro, Civic Cookie Controller, etc.)
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on multiple, overlapping digital properties 
  • Positive engagement, attention to detail, and superior communication skills while collaborating with internal and external teams 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, judge priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines 
  • Technical knowledge of tools such as tags, JavaScript, JSON, widgets, RSS Feeds, HTML, CSS, APIs, etc. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with the life science industry and regulations affecting healthcare communications and advertising 
  • Creativity and excellent writing skills
